The Super Bowl is upon us, which means we need to once again break out the best dips to watch the big game. To help out, we compiled a list of some top-contenders. Enjoy our super list of seven super dips to share or serve at your super, Super Bowl party. All the recipes will be at the bottom of this blog. Enjoy and happy dipping!

    1. Beef Queso

    Who doesn’t love a big pot or skillet of deliciously seasoned beef and gooey cheese? This is a go-to and a must have for many game day snack tables. Get out your stretchy pants or punch some new belt holes because this dip is addictive.

    2. Garlic Chicken Dip

    This dip is always a hit. One, because it tastes great. Two, because it keeps all the vampires away - except Italian vampires - while you are watching the game. To be honest, it keeps most people away. Remember though, it tastes great. We give it 40 out of 40 cloves.

    3. Crock Pot Pizza Dip

    You can add all the pepperoni and other great toppings into this pizza dip that will be sure to have you craving more pizza by the end of the night. A truly great pizza never truly satisfies, but inspires us to consume more of that evilly delicious Italian food.

    4. Bacon Ranch Dip

    Get prepared and ready for the big game by loading your bacon into this amazingly easy and tasty dip! (You don’t have to include all of your bacon. Your secret stash can stay where it is for emergency use.)

    5. Smoked Salmon

    There is always that one person that you bearly know with a bearish appetite that shows up to your campsite, I mean party. Best to have a little something for everyone, and this dip is wonderful, fresh and light.

    6. Taco Dip

    Though the Chiefs took a Big L in their last game, this Super Bowl can be a huge W if you make this dip. It’s addictive and sure to be a favorite of the day.

    7. Chicken Enchilada Dip

    Maybe you want some chicken instead of ground beef. We got you. Get all the gooey goodness of enchiladas in a bowl with this dip. It is the perfect and worthy vessel for all of your cheese desires.




    • 1 lb ground beef
    • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
    • 8 ounces Velveeta cheese
    • 2 cups grated cheddar cheese
    • 10 ounces diced tomatoes with green chilis canned
    • 1/2 cup milk


    1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat cook ground beef until no longer pink and season with taco seasoning.
    2. Add in diced tomatoes, Velveeta and cheddar cheese and stir until cheese begins to melt. Pour in milk and stir until all cheese has melted.
    3. Garnish with additional toppings if desired.



    • 1/4 Cup Mayonnaise
    • 1½ Cups Shredded Italian Cheese Blend, reserve 1/2 cup for topping
    • 4 ounces Cream Cheese – softened
    • 1/2 Cup Plain Greek Yogurt
    • 1/2 teaspoon Cracked Pepper
    • 1 Cup Shredded Rotisserie Chicken
    • 40 Roasted Garlic Cloves – chopped


    1. Preheat oven to 350°F
    2. Mix all ingredients and transfer to a 27oz baking dish. Top with remaining 1/2 cup of shredded cheese.
    3. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until top is browned and bubbly.



  • 8 ounces cream cheese cut into pieces
  • 4 ounces mozzarella cheese shredded (1 cup)
  • 4 ounces Monterey jack cheese shredded (1 cup)
  • 2 ounces pepperoni diced
  • 4 ounces mild Italian ground sausagecooked & crumbled
  • 8 strips bacon cooked & crumbled
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce or more to taste

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350°F

    2. Mix all ingredients and transfer to a 27oz baking dish. Top with remaining 1/2 cup of shredded cheese.

    3. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until top is browned and bubbly.



    • 1/2 cup Land O Lakes® Butter softened
    • 1/2 cup light sour cream
    • 1 8-ounce package cream cheese, softened
    • 2 tablespoons dry ranch dressing seasoning mix
    • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
    • 3/4 cup cooked bacon crumblesor 12 slices cooked and crumbled
    • 1/3 cup sliced green onion
    • crackers or chips


    • Combine butter, sour cream, cream cheese, and dry ranch mix in medium bowl
    • Beat at medium speed until smooth
    • Spread onto large serving plate
    • Top with cheese, bacon and onion
    • Cover; refrigerate to blend flavors (1 hour)
    • Serve with crackers or chips



    • 1 cup (8 ounces) cream cheese
    • 1/4 cup sour cream
    • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
    • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
    • 2 tablespoons capers, drained
    • 1/4 teaspoon Tasbasco
    • 4 ounces smoked salmon, roughly chopped
    • 2 tablespoons fresh chopped dill
    • 2 tablespoons fresh chopped chives
    • Salt, to taste


    Combine the cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, lemon juice, capers, and Tabasco in a food processor fitted with the metal blade; pulse until blended. Add the salmon, dill and chives and pulse, scraping the sides of the bowl as necessary, until the salmon is finely chopped. Taste and add salt, if necessary (I usually add about 1/4 teaspoon, but it depends on the saltiness of the smoked salmon). Serve as a dip with crackers or bagel chips, or as a spread with bagels.

    TACO DIP: (May seem similar to Beef Queso, but would you be mad if you made two beef and cheese dips?)


    • 1/2 pound extra sharp cheddar cheese cubed
    • 1/2 pound American cheese {I got mine at the local deli} cubed
    • 1 cup heavy cream
    • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
    • 1/8 teaspoon salt

    For the ground beef

    • 1/2 pound 80/20 ground beef
    • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
    • 1 1/4 hot chili powder
    • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
    • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
    • 1/4 teaspoon ground coriander
    • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
    • 1/4 teaspoon salt
    • 1/4 cup water

    For garnish, if desired

    • Diced tomatoes
    • Sliced green onions
    • Tortilla chips for dipping


      • In a medium heavy saucepan, combine cheeses and heavy cream
      • Melt over very low heat, stirring occasionally
      • Add garlic powder and salt, stirring to combine
      • Keep warm while preparing beef

    For the ground beef

      • Brown meat over medium heat in a medium-sized skillet
      • Remove from heat and drain fat
      • Return to heat and add seasonings
      • Add water; stir to combine
      • Continue to stir while simmering for two minutes


      • Stir the cheese dip and spoon into a serving bowl
      • Spoon the seasoned ground beef in the middle of the cheese
      • Top with tomatoes and onions
      • Serve with tortilla chips



    1 Boneless/skinless Chicken Breast, grilled and shredded

    1 8-Ounce package cream cheese, softened

    1 cup mayonnaise

    1 8-ounce package of Colby jack shredded cheese

    1 4-ounce can green chili pepper, diced

    1 Jalapeno finely diced


    • Place shredded chicken in a medium bowl, and mix in cream cheese, mayonnaise, shredded cheese, green chile peppers and jalapeno pepper.
    • Transfer the chicken mixture to a medium baking dish.
    • Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
