<li>Keep your grill clean by removing grease or fat buildup from the grill and the trays below the grill. <li>Check for gas leaks. You can do this by making a solution of half liquid dish soap and half water, then rubbing it on the hoses and connections. Then, turn the gas on (with the grill lid open). If soap forms large bubbles, that's a sign the hoses have small holes or that the connections are not tight enough.</li> 	
<li>Keep a fire extinguisher and spray bottle of water (for minor flare ups) nearby, just in case. Another key point of safety is to know how to use the fire extinguisher and teach everyone in your house how to use it. It doesn’t do you any good if you can’t figure out how to use it during an emergency. You also want to let your steak come to room temperature before grilling, so give yourself time. You know what they say; good things come to those who wait.<h5>Clean and Oil Your Grill</h5>Before you begin grilling your <a href="https://www.goodranchers.com/coming-soon/">Good Ranchers steak</a> (or whatever you’re grilling), turn the grill on so it gets hot and brush off the grill with a long handled wire grill brush. For all recipes, use however much marinade you prefer, but the common rule of thumb is ½ cup of marinade per 1 lb of steak.<h5>1. <li>Brush the potatoes with more melted butter mixture then sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan on top of potatoes and bake for another 22 to 25 minutes, or until potatoes are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.</li> 	
<li>Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.</li></ol><h5>3. Macaroni and Cheese with Bacon</h5>This recipe might almost be better than steak night itself.INGREDIENTS<ul>
 	
<li>6 strips bacon</li> 	
<li>8 ounces elbow macaroni (2 cups dry)</li> 	
<li>5 tablespoons butter (divided)</li> 	
<li>Pinch of garlic powder</li> 	
<li>1/4 cup all-purpose flour</li> 	
<li>2 1/2 cups milk</li> 	
<li>Kosher salt (to taste)</li> 	
<li>Freshly ground black pepper&nbsp;(to taste)</li> 	
<li>2 cups sharp cheddar cheese (divided)</li> 	
<li>1 cup&nbsp;breadcrumbs</li></ul>DIRECTIONS<ol>
 	
<li>Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat, until browned and crisp.</li> 	
<li>Remove bacon and pat grease dry with a paper towel and set to the side.</li> 	
<li>Cook elbow macaroni (use package instructions) to boiling, then drain and set aside.</li> 	
<li>Turn oven to 350 degrees.</li> 	
<li>Lightly grease a 2 ½ quart baking dish.</li> 	
<li>In a medium saucepan, add 3 tbsp of butter and add green onion and pinch of garlic salt, stirring frequently for about 1 minute.</li>

<li>Gradually add the milk, salt and pepper until thickened.</li> 	
<li>Pour half of remaining shredded cheese into saucepan and continue cooking and stirring until cheese melts.</li> 	
<li>Combine macaroni with cheese sauce in a bowl or pour over.</li> 	
<li>Crumble bacon over the top of the dish, followed by the remaining shredded cheese.</li> 	
<li>Melt remaining butter and add breadcrumbs to melted butter, then pour over the dish.</li>

Freeze leftovers within 3-4 days. Do not refreeze any foods left outside the refrigerator longer than 2 hours; 1 hour in temperatures above 90 °F.If you purchase previously frozen meat, poultry or fish at a retail store, you can refreeze if it has been handled properly, according to USDA.Myth 4: Frozen food expires. 8 Common Myths About Frozen Meat

De-thaw the steaks before cooking. Place them on a paper towel-lined plate and pat dry with more paper towels. This will help dry the surface of the meat, making a better crust.
2. Season the steaks.
Just before cooking, liberally coat the steaks with the salt or seasoning of choice. MakE sure to coat the sides of the steaks as well.
3. Oil the steak.
An evenly applied coating of neutral oil such as olive or canola on both sides of the steak will ensure the steak doesn’t stick to the grill.
4. Heat the grill.
Preheat your grill on high. High heat will give your steak a perfect crust. Monitor the grill temperature to ensure that it remains at around 450-500°F.
5. Cook the steaks.
Place the steak at the hottest part of the grill, directly above the coals, and let it sear for two to three minutes, then flip the steak and sear the other side for two to three minutes. During the searing process, resist the urge to move the steak around, as this will prevent optimal grill marks.
6. Finish the steaks.
After the steak is properly seared, if it’s not finished, move it to the warm side of the grill, close the lid and continue to cook the steak until it’s at your desired temperature for doneness.
7. Rest the steaks.
Remove the steak from the grill, place on a cutting board and allow it to rest for five minutes.
