Ingredients:

    • At least 1 T-bone steak from Good Ranchers
    • Olive oil
    • Salt
    • Pepper

Instructions:

    1. Preheat the Grill: preheat your grill to medium-high heat. You want it nice and hot to achieve a perfect sear on your T-bone steak.
    2. Prepare the Steak: take your T-bone steak out of the refrigerator and let it come to room temperature for about 30 minutes before grilling. This ensures even cooking.
    3. Drizzle the steak with olive oil and rub it evenly all over the surface.
    4. Season both sides of the steak generously with salt and pepper. Remember, the meatier side is the New York strip, and the smaller side is the filet mignon.
    5. Grill the T-Bone: carefully place the seasoned T-bone steak on the preheated grill. Position it diagonally to achieve those beautiful grill marks.
    6. Grill the steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare doneness. Adjust the cooking time according to your preferred level of doneness.
    7. Rest the Steak: once the T-bone is cooked to perfection, remove it from the grill and transfer it to a cutting board. Allow it to rest for about 5-10 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute throughout the meat, ensuring a juicy and flavorful bite.
    8. Garnish and Serve: arrange the sliced steak on a platter and serve immediately. Garnish with fresh herbs or a drizzle of olive oil, if desired.

Tips for Success:

    • Make sure your grill is well-heated before adding the steak to achieve a beautiful sear.
    • Letting the steak rest after grilling ensures a juicier and more flavorful result.
    • Use a meat thermometer to ensure your steak reaches your desired level of doneness: 125°F for medium-rare, 135°F for medium, and 145°F for medium-well.

Now get ready to enjoy every delicious bite of this mouthwatering T-bone steak from Good Ranchers!
