Ingredients

  • 1 lb Good Ranchers’ Ground Beef
  • 1 small Onion, chopped
  • 2 tbsp Tomato Paste
  • ½ tsp Garlic Powder
  • ½ tsp Chili Powder
  • 1 lb box Elbow Macaroni
  • 3 cups Beef Broth
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 cup Water
  • 2 cups Cheddar Cheese, grated
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium-high heat, stirring often to break the beef into small pieces, about 7-10 minutes.
  2. About three minutes into browning the beef, add the diced onions and cook until meat is browned and onions are soft. Drain off any excess fat.
  3. Turn the heat up to high and stir in the tomato paste, garlic powder, and chili powder.
  4. Add the beef broth, milk, and water; then add the macaroni. Stir to combine.
  5. Once the mixture is boiling, turn the heat to medium so it’s at a rapid simmer and cook until the pasta is tender and most of the liquid has been absorbed, about 13-15 minutes. Stir often to keep the macaroni from sticking.
  6. Once the pasta is tender, take the pot off the heat and stir in the cheese. Finish by seasoning with salt and pepper. Allow it to sit for 3-5 minutes before serving.
