Ingredients
Chicken:
-
4 Good Ranchers chicken breasts
-
½ teaspoon salt
-
¼ teaspoon pepper
-
½ teaspoon garlic powder
-
½ teaspoon paprika
-
1 tablespoon olive oil, for cooking
Pan Sauce
-
½ cup chicken broth
-
1 tablespoon chopped Calabrian chili peppers
-
1 tablespoon honey
-
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
-
1 tablespoon butter
-
Fresh lemon wedges
Instructions
-
Cook the Chicken: Season the chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken and sear for 4 to 5 minutes per side, until golden and cooked through. Transfer to a plate and let it rest. Do not wipe out the pan.
-
Make the Pan Sauce: Reduce the heat to medium-low and add the chicken broth to the skillet, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom. Let it simmer for 2 to 3 minutes, until slightly reduced. Whisk in the Calabrian chili paste, honey, and Dijon mustard. Lower the heat and whisk in the butter until the sauce is smooth and glossy.
-
Finish: Return the chicken to the pan and spoon the sauce over top. Finish with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice and extra Calabrian chilis, if desired. Serve over orzo or rice, or slice and add to a salad.
