One Dish Italian Pork Gnocchi

Ingredients

1 lb package Good Ranchers’ Mild Italian Pork Sausage

1lb package Potato Gnocchi

1 pint Cherry Tomatoes

2 cups fresh Spinach, roughly chopped

2 cloves Garlic, minced

½ cup Chicken Broth

½ cup Heavy Cream

½ cup Parmesan Cheese, grated

Salt and Pepper

 

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a medium sized baking dish add gnocchi, cherry tomatoes, spinach, garlic, chicken broth, and heavy cream.

2. Season with salt and pepper and toss everything together. With your fingers, pinch small bits of the Italian sausage and spread evenly across the top of the dish.

3. Cover with a lid or foil and cook for 30 minutes.

4. Uncover, add the parmesan cheese, mix the dish, and bake for another 10 minutes uncovered.

5. Serve with crusty bread to soak up all the goodness of this one dish gnocchi!

 

Crusty Bread Ingredients

4 cups All Purpose Flour

2 ¼ tsp Instant Yeast

2 ½ tsp Salt

2 cups warm water

 

Crusty Bread Instructions

1. In a large bowl, mix flour, yeast, and salt.

2. Pour in the warm water and use a wooden spoon to mix until it forms a shaggy dough. 

3. Cover the bowl with a towel and let rise for 2 hours or until it’s doubled in size.

4. When it’s almost doubled, place a Dutch oven with lid in an oven and preheat to 450 degrees.

5. While preheating, scrape the dough out of the bowl onto a lightly floured surface and form into a ball.

6. Place the dough ball onto a sheet of parchment paper.  Place the dough and parchment paper into the heated Dutch oven and secure the lid.

7. Bake at 450 degrees for 30 minutes covered, then remove the lid and bake for another 10 minutes uncovered.

8. Allow the bread to cool for one hour and enjoy!
