Ingredients

  • 4 Chicken Breasts cut into 1 inch cubes
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 2 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 1 stick Butter
  • 10 Garlic cloves, minced
  • ½ cup Parmesan, grated
  • 1 tbsp Hot Sauce
  • 2 tsp Red Pepper flakes
  • ½ cup fresh minced Parsley

Instructions

  1. In a gallon ziplock bag, marinate the chicken cubes in olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Seal and shake the bag to coat the chicken evenly and set in the fridge to marinate (this can be done up to a day before cooking the chicken).
  2. While the chicken is marinating, heat 1 stick of butter on medium-low heat in a saucepan. Add the minced garlic, parmesan, hot sauce, red pepper flakes, and parsley and stir to combine. Once combined, allow it to cook on low for 3 minutes and then remove the pan from the heat and take out 1/3 of the mixture.
  3. Put the marinated chicken in a bowl and toss in the 1/3 garlic butter that you separated and then place in a 400° air fryer for 5 minutes. After the chicken has cooked for 5 minutes, turn or toss the chicken and baste with some of the remaining garlic butter (don’t forget to clean your basting brush between each coating of the chicken). Cook for an additional 5-6 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°.
  4. Once the nuggets are finished cooking, baste them with a final pass of the garlic butter and sprinkle with some extra parmesan cheese and serve hot. I’ve served this with fries, sweet potatoes, rice, mashed potatoes, pasta—it really goes with everything!
