  • Pinch of brown sugar
  • Zest and juice of 1 lime
  • Optional: Lime slices and sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Miso Marinade:
    • In a mixing bowl, combine miso paste, soy sauce, water, mirin, sesame oil, brown sugar, lime zest, and lime juice.
    • Whisk until the ingredients are well combined and the miso paste is fully incorporated.
  2. Marinate the Salmon:
    • Place the salmon filets in a shallow dish or resealable plastic bag.
    • Pour the miso marinade over the salmon, ensuring that each filet is evenly coated.
    • Cover the dish or seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 45 minutes, allowing the flavors to infuse into the salmon.

    • Preheat your broiler to high heat.
  4. Broil the Salmon:

    • Remove the salmon filets from the marinade and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
    • Broil the salmon for 5-6 minutes, or until the miso glaze is caramelized and the salmon is cooked through.
