Ingredients:
- 1 lb Good Ranchers’ Ground Beef
- ½ Yellow Onion, minced
- 3 cloves Garlic, minced
- ½ tsp fresh Ginger, minced
- ¼ cup Soy Sauce, low-sodium
- 1 tbsp Hoisin Sauce
- 1 tbsp Brown Sugar, packed
- ½ tsp Red Pepper Flakes
- 1 tbsp Sesame Oil
- Green onion and sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions:
- In a skillet on medium-high heat, brown the ground beef using a spatula to break up the meat into small bits.
- Approximately 7 minutes into cooking, remove the beef bits with a slotted spoon and drain all oil from the skillet.
- Place back in the pan and add the sesame oil and minced onion, then continue to cook until the beef is well done.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the garlic, ginger, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, brown sugar, and red pepper flakes.
- Once the beef is well done and onion is soft, add your sauce mixture, stir together, and cook another 5-8 minutes.
- Serve on rice and top with sliced green onion and a sprinkle of sesame seeds. Alternatively, this beef would be amazing in lettuce wraps or even as a taco!
