Valentine's Day Bacon Bouquet

By Good Ranchers

February 10, 2025

Forget the usual flowers—give your Valentine a bouquet that’s as delicious as it is thoughtful! These bacon roses are the perfect blend of crispy, savory, and heartfelt.

Ingredients

2 packs of Good Ranchers Bacon

1 bunch of fake roses

Optional Items:

Small Vase

Chocolates

Cellophane

Instructions

1. Prep the Bacon

Lay bacon strips flat on a parchment-lined rimmed baking sheet.

2. Bake to Perfection

Place the bacon in a cold oven.

Preheat to 400°F and bake for 15 minutes.

Check the bacon, rotate the pans if needed, and bake for another 5 minutes until the bacon is cooked but still soft.

Remove from oven and let cool for about 10 minutes—it should be cool enough to handle but still pliable.

3. Create the Bacon Roses

Tightly roll each strip of bacon into a rosette shape.

Secure with toothpicks and place upright on the baking sheet.

Lower oven temperature to 375°F and bake for about 10 minutes until the bacon turns a deeper reddish color.

Once they reach your desired color, remove from the oven and let cool.

4. Assemble the Bouquet

While the bacon is cooling, remove the rose tops from the fake flowers.

Wash the stems and calyx (the green cup at the base of the flower) with warm, soapy water and dry thoroughly.

Once the bacon roses have cooled, remove the toothpicks and firmly place each rose on a stem, sliding it into the calyx.

5. Wrap & Gift!

Arrange your bacon roses in a vase or wrap them in cellophane for a finishing touch.

Pair with chocolates or a sweet note for the ultimate Valentine’s Day surprise! ❤️
